This initiative is organized annually to support school development and promote learning opportunities for children in communities located near the Company’s operational areas through following activities:

The initiative focused on enhancing knowledge and promoting sustainable self-reliance through activities such as the development of school vegetable gardens. These learning spaces enabled students, teachers, and parents to gain practical knowledge in cultivation techniques and agricultural produce management. The harvested produce could be used for household consumption, helping to reduce living expenses, while surplus produce could be sold to generate additional income. The initiative therefore supported vocational skills development, food security, and long-term community resilience.

More than 503 students’ family members and teachers benefited from the program.

As part of the initiative, the Company’s employees volunteered to establish the vegetable garden plots, creating hands-on learning spaces where students could practice growing crops and develop essential life skills through experiential learning.
